The next phase of the ERASMUS+ AFISHE project in the field of capacity building in higher education took place in Nitra.

Ing. Ivan Pavlík, PhD. is a graduate of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. In 2011 completed studies at FAFR in the study programme of Animal Production Management and subsequently he was a PhD. student at the Department of Animal Genetics and Breeding Biology.

On 25 and 26 October, students of the Animal Science course completed a field practical to assess the barn environment and comfort of dairy cows on the university farm in Oponice, which is described as highly comfortable.

On September 27th, 2023, COST Association premises in Brussels hosted the first Management Committee (MC) meeting of the COST Action CA22112 “European Network on Livestock Phenomics (EU-LI-PHE)” (https://www.cost.eu/actions/CA22112/). This marked the beginning of the Action, which had been approved for a four-year funding period (2023-2027) by the COST Association in May this year.
