Representatives of FAPZ SPU in Nitra participated in the project GLISTEN, which has enters the next phase of the project, on 26-29 June.

Representatives of FAPZ SPU in Nitra participated in the project GLISTEN, which has enters the next phase of the project, on 26-29 June. The meeting at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) included a meeting of the steering committee and the first training event for researchers, teaching staff of PhD students and students.  The project meeting included a presentation by Dr. Hasan Mara from Turkey, who reported on the support and transformation programmes in Turkish agriculture for improving sustainability and reducing environmental impacts. The working meeting was opened with a speech by the Dean of the UAB Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, prof. Manel López Bejar, who welcomed the participants and then the participants moved to the experimental farm of the faculty, where a practical presentation on the detection of enteric methane emissions in dairy cows followed by a tour of the farm took place. The project manager prof. Muzaffer Denli from Dicle University (Turkey) led the working session, which consisted of lectures by prof. Kasarda (FAFR, SUA Nitra), Dr. Sola-Oriol (UAB), Dr. Salama (UAB) and Dr. Ozzel (University of Torino, IT).
