Visitors from India at the Department of Pedology and Geology

Department of Soil Science and Geology, Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources from 6 to 10 November have a chance to treat of two professors – associate deans from Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Nuzvid, Andhra Pradesh, India. In term of ERASMUS+ program introduced possibility of co-operation in the field of bio-nanotechnology applicable in the agriculture production. Bilateral collaboration of academic stuff has been already established in other European project. First research and academic developed activities had been published and further results appears enormous potential and possibilities to intensive cooperation.

Both of sides have agreed on the step-by-step process of preparation of publication including formation and application of nanomaterials (metal nanoparticles, fullerene, sol - gel materials, and etc.), exchange students, and further collaboration and preparation grants which in the near future will be cover via memorandum of understanding.

Integral part of exchange was visiting of laboratories of Department of Soil Science and Geology, work meeting with associate dean Ing. Jánom Gažom, PhD., and introduction of strategic challenge for wide cooperation not only for departments of Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources but every departments, and faculties at the University of Agriculture in Nitra of Slovak Republic.
